wow you really got mad.....UFC attracts more fans because of the fact they make great matchups....occasional boxing fans dont give a **** about cotto and margarito or clottey..lol

im not saying ufc is better but as far as the match ups they make the fights people wanna see....period...no1 cares about clottey..the best matchups going are the middle weight tournament.....

You're right. In boxing, u have 27 champs all in the same weightclass/division.

In boxing, the best doesnt have to fight the best in order to be the best.

I'm a boxing fan at heart, but its becoming a bit pathetic the way this sport is being run.

    I have to disagree slightly...

Nothing wrong with any of thise fights you mentioned. There are enough good-name, decent-draw fighters to have these fights and more.

so what if say wbo acted and became a company, instead of what ever they are. and had a head . or say if Oscar made Golden Boy into a company rather than being a promoter and promotion . Do you think it could take a hold of boxers and make something of itself like ufc ?

Casual fans can care less about ppv#'s, titles, belts, rankings, etc....

All they want to see is exciting competitive matchups. Until then, they will flock to mma and tune in for an occasional boxing match featuring Pac or some other exciting fighter.

MMA is small-fry right now. Any continuity it has is a function of it being small enough such that a handful of companies can hold it all together. As soon as it reaches any sort of mass-market size, it will start to fracture, in exactly the same way boxing did.

uhh that's not the biggest difference. since boxing is a sport and UFC is a company you actually cant compare it at all can you..?
If it was MMA as a whole then you can at least compare it to begin with. so. all the top guys are fighting the top guys eh? What about Fedor and Brock Lesnar? That never happened. So you cant say that they're fighting the top guys. The thing is that boxing is so much of a big sport that there's no way that every single fighter can fight everybody. In a smaller COMPANY like UFC you can basically fight everyone. so this whole thread is bull****. next time do "Biggest Difference between Boxing and MMA."
And please don't compare them boxing has been around for ages and MMA barely scratched the surface in the late 90s I think? It got big in the 2000s. So don't compare them.

WWF should only be for kids...i watched when i was a kid but then grew out of it because that **** was so fake. you dont realize how ridiculous it is till you grow up a little bit..

but theres grown men that still watch that ****. i do understand wtf is wrong with them. they watch the same thing my 8 year old brother does. that should tell you something. and then theres people that actually think the **** is real. weirdos in this world man
