Definately the most exciting.
The best, Hmm no no particular race is the better but the other races USUALLY take more precaution which is not always as exciting.

I mean honestly if u look at FOTY for the past few decades i think the majority of the winners either included a Mexican or a person of Latin decent.

I agree to a certain extent. IMO boxing is better as a whole with great Mexican fighters. Guys like JCC, EM, Finito and MAB were great for the sport. I love the atmosphere of a great Mexican fight probably more than any other. The Mariache bands the Mexican flags waving the passionate and knowledgeable fans nothing better IMO. Viva Mexico! I'm eagerly awaiting the next great Mexican superstar.

 

You can certainly make a strong case for Mexicans being the most exciting group of fighters in the game. Virtually every great fight of the last decade had atleast one Mexican in it. Morales-Barrera, Castillo-Correlas, Margarito- Cotto, the list goes on and on. You definitely get your moneys worth when a Mexican is on the card:good

 

Well when you pit two top Mexican fighters against each other, more than likely you are going to get a FOTY canidate. You will be entertained. Barrera-Morales, Vasquez-Marquez, Diaz-Marquez, ect... but you don't need two Mexicans to be fighting each other to get a good fight 1 Mex can make it happen. the Mexican will either get his ass kicked in an exciting fashion or kick ass in an exciting fashion. It's a cultural thing, Mexicans don't run they fight! why you think DLH got dissed by the mexican public when he ran in the last couple of rounds against Tito.

But let's not get carried away and say Mexican fighters are the best, or that only Mexicans give exciting fights. Gamboa, Mosley, Mayorga, Pacquiao, Valero, all non Mexicans and all give exciting fights.

I never understood that really, i mean Pac did beat some Mex fighters but past prime Morales did beat him once and yes Pac stopped him in thier rematch, but that was after Morales was already embarrassed by a journeyman in raheem, as for da Marquez fights both could have gone eighter way so i really dont get this (bitter) thing. I'm not taking anything from Pac he's great and I'm a big fan of his and everything but i think most Mex here are against SOME of his fans cause of the way they bash every other fighter that are not name Pacquiao.

maybe not on an individual basis but as a group i think you are right, they are more likely to produce a fighter with an exciting style than perhaps other groups. not better but more fun to watch.
