I dunno...I live in Detroit and am ringside so I am somewhat partial to Dirrell; especially after him being robbed. But AA is one of the best fighters I have seen in awhile. When I saw him fight with that broken jaw, I was an instant fan. He really does have devastating KO power. I was rooting for JT to beat AA. But in all honesty, I was watching each round on edge because I knew that once JT slowed or that jab stopped popping...he was going to get rocked.

AA is patient, doesn't get flustered, is explosive, keeps a tight defensive shell, has good angles on his punches, is powerful, has heart and a granite chin. I think it is hard to bet against AA in this fight. People are so quick to say Dirrell is more talented but I think some people are underestimating AA's skill, speed and power. Though not as fast as Dirrell; his explosiveness is undeniable. Being explosive is sometimes scarier than being fast because the punches seem to "come from nowhere."

Either way, I have no fanboy goggles on and I can't wait to be sitting ringside for this fight and to watch some of my old sparring partners fight on the undercards. peace

    Love it!

This is like Ward vs Kessler all over again. Ward was dropped by a journeymen when he was younger, of course he has a glass jaw! Of course im sure there'll be excuse like when Ward won.

    Cant wait for saturday.

    Any more excuses ***s?

i like AA and all, but seeing this kind of dumb **** makes me wanna see AA at the receiving end of a lop sided 12 round beating just so that these idiots can shut up.

Do you even follow boxing? He was dropped by Anthony Hanshaw as well. It's stated clearly in my opening post. :patsch

I can't really see much of a case for Dirrell winning this one.

Actually Hanshaw pushed him down and his glove touched the canvas. Oganov and Froch caught Dirrell with hayemakers while he was backing away and he wasnt effected. But carry on with your delusion, just dont skip town come saturday nightl.

He was never even close to being stopped. Dirrell will be stopped savagely come Saturday night. That's the key difference.

He's faced two big punchers - Froch and Stevens - and he ran from both. He was also knocked down by Hanshaw (it wasn't counted, but it was a KD), although I didn't think he was hurt.

He certainly doesn't have a good chin. I can see Dirrell getting starched, or I can see him potshotting his way to a wide decision. Maybe Abraham can win a decision by landing the more effective shots and hurting him early, getting Dirrell to not engage. But that's about all I see, one of those three.

    Andre Dirrell - 6'2
    Arthur Abraham - 5'10

Andre dirrell - 75 inch reach
    Arthur Abraham 72 inch reach

Dirrell is faster then Abraham, and is not afraid to not engage.

Arthur Abraham gave up 4 rounds, the first 2 infact to a gunshy shot Jermaine Taylor, who doesnt have near the movement nor speed of Dirrell.

    There's your case right there.
