atsch No it's not if your fighting the guys on Geale's resume it's not and without injuries etc etc. Geale is not Pacman or Marquez who fight elite fighters every 6 months. Apart from Mundine Geales resume is made up of journeymen. Twice a year is NOT enough.
Geales website has Macklin pencilled in for June, with a possible tune up in May. Get them both happening. http://www.danielgeale.com.au/?p=263
Was actually just going to say Macklin... There;s a couple of other good British fighters at the weight as well (Barker/Moore etc). A bit of "Ashes" boxing action would be lovely.
Nice find mate but sounds strange....why would you have a fight 4 weeks out from such a huge fight as Macklin :huh
thanks ash, it was a great day. of course i was joking francis, i bitched about the grange a while back and most said blah blah blah...grange is good . they may train him well but they cant manage him for ****!!!
Marcus in defence of Billy and The Grange its not always easy bringing guys here. World rated fighters would rather stay and fight in there back yards than risk losing away. I know Billy has a ppv show with Daniel fighting the main in June. A win over Macklin will have him in line for a shot at the IBF title. Daniel we all know is capable of winning that title. Billy will get him there. Hes a very good manager.
I thing Geale can beat both guys.....however winning on points in Germany maybe a bit hard for anybody...let alone Dan.
what about stay busy fights? ****ing fight somebody please !!! i cant see why he cant test himself in da USA ? against a top 10 american maybe?
Which TV company would want to put that on? A pure boxer, Australian at that, with little power. There'd be next to no money in it... and even less fanfare.
