Chambers is NOT GOOD. Povetkin BAD. This is how to beat KLITSCHKO as a smaller man.

You want to know how to beat Klitschko as a smaller man?

Here are two examples, but there are other ways depending on who's fighting him.

Did Chambers have a realistic chance? Probably not, but that's because Chambers lacks the physical attributes necessary to beat Wlad. Still though, if he was a bit more determined and actually knew how to box, he could have done better and even won some rounds.

    Unfortunately, he doesn't.

    First....

Louis was outweight by 65 lbs...

Compare that to this...garbagesque effort by Chambers. Notice that Klitschko is just about an exact replica of Carnera. Carnera would have been champ in this era too.

And now, here is Tyson vs Tucker who isn't as strong as Klitschko is but in his prime as seen here, is faster, just about the same height, has a very good chin, throws a larger variety of punches, and is a more fluid mover.

And compare this to Chagaev which is laughable, but some people on this site consider Chagaev to be a great fighter and compared him to Tyson.

Given those two example, try n tell me that Povetkin is a good heavyweight. The man would be destroyed by Klitschko. He wouldn't win one damn round.

Not sure why everybody is jumping on noobs ass over this post, its a fair enough demonstration of why Chambers lost, and why a lot of small men are losing to Klitschko. Okay, the Klitschko/Carnera comparison is off, Klitschko is a lot more athletic.

None of these guys have head movement. None of them have lateral movement, they can't find an angle. Very few of them move their feet with any degree of conviction. Combine all three of these problems and you start to get an idea why a lot of guys are standing right infront of Klitschko getting their head jabbed off.

None of them are Joe Louis or Mike Tyson, but then again these are once in a generation fighters. A little bit of ****ing head movement to slip a jab and get inside wouldn't go amiss though...

Carnera was slow like a snail, had no defence worth mentioning, was extremely feather fisted for a guy of his size, and absorbed more power punches in one round then Wladimir in his entire career...

Vitali and Vlad are miles above Carnera. Carnera had no talent, he was big, but no talent or real skills. Klitschkos are taller, better shape, superior skills and tons of power. Povetkin was gold medal winner in Olympics and Chambers was best American heavyweight ranked fighter. Vlad won gold medal in 1996 Olympics, Superheavyweight division.

Yeah, like the earlier ones said, Carnera was not known as good student of boxing.

He was just a gigantic dude who can punch a little and box a little.

Comparing him to boxers who really know how to box is not good.

Wasnt he called "The Ambling Alp" or something?

Says a lot about his movement and quickness.

Carnera was more of Valuev than of Wlad, really terrible comparison.
