I don't know about Pimp C. I'm talking about the total different styles of Vargas and DLH. In the barrio both types live next to each other but are on different planets in reality.

I see what you mean, I thought he was just waving his arms about, had no idea he was referring to bullfighting.

I still stand by the fact that Chavez could never have won either fight and knew it, that's why he quit it they were just paydays and he deserved them.

 

Apparently they wanted him to end up like Morales or Castillo, so punch drunk that you end up losing to guys that shouldn't share the ring with you on shitty fight cards.

 

Chavez didn't do himself any favours by claiming that the cut was the result of his son accidently bumping his head while bouncing him on his knee

 

......and yet, there was video proof of that shown throughout every Latino based sportscast throughtout the US.

The cut, was a pre-existing cut that had happend weeks before during sparring, but just a few days before the DLH fight in a TV interview with Umberto Luna, Chavez son on his knee jerks his head back and collides his head with Chavez' eyebrow......Chavez is seen on the videotape with a handkerchief wiping a small trickle of blood from the area.

Chavez took alot of heat even from the Latino media after the fight for mentioning that the cut had been pre-existing.
When the videotape came out showing his son bumping Chavez' head, the Latino media let it be public, but the English based media never even made a mention of it.

 

Well, it'll be easier to believe had we not seen DLH open a cut over Rivera's eye a year later with a punch which was just as serious as Chavez' and just as early in the fight.

 

I have seen the video of his son butting him I am going to see if I can get a copy.

 

pretty much what everyone said. it seems like a combination of things. beating mexico's beloved chavez, the fact that he acted more of a white american then a mexican. and dlh didnt excatly have the typical mexican style of boxing. running from trinidad didnt help either.

 

i read somewhere that he used to beat kids up in front of their girlfriends then he would **** on them. Thats why he was called the golden boy, cuz he's **** was so yellow.
