I hate shannon briggs.

 

Not the worst opponent if he wants to show he's still in the game. But he'll not exactly propel himself to the title-challenging top part of the rankings by fighting him. He's coming off a knockout loss in only January and Briggs is coming off a banned substance no contest loss against a nobody. Eh.

 

Owen Beck is a good fighter. A win could propel Briggs back into the HW title picture.

He called a spade a spade when he said Klitschko needs to pick on someone his own size. Us English fans were enraged at the size differential between Klitschko and his last opponent.

 

I don't hate him but he was shot 10 years ago.

 

I am actually looking forward to this fight. It could be a good little scrap while it lasts.

 

i saw owen beck fight recently.

he has been eating mcdonalds 24/7 for a year.

he is now just a big fat blob of dough , in appalling shape and condition , and should be barred from boxing as a health risk of heart attack and diabetes.

 

That is just how good Beck is. But too bad Nicolay Valuev beat him so decisively. But this guy Beck is very good indeed.

 

Looks like Briggs realized he has to do more than just talk in order to get himself back into the HW picture. Good to see.

 

A bit harsh no? I saw his most recent fight with Manuel Charr as well. Yeah, he did look weigh over his fighting weight, but he might have dropped some since then.

 

people need to see what beck is like now, before saying he is still a good fighter.

i swear he is 6 months pregnant, his belly gets to the door 2 seconds before the rest of him.

 

Hopefully Briggs can make it to the ring without dying of an asthma attack.
