King Arthur Abraham will absolutely obliterate Andre Dirrell's fragile Glass Jaw

I've been following boxing for 20 years and have numerous career sets of the older guys on DVD, so spare me your 'you know nothing, you're the MMA generation, never seen Leonard and Ali fight' bull****. It makes you look like a clown. What worries me is that if you've been following the sport for so long and still cannot see the difference between Dirrell's performance against Froch for most of the fight and the way Ali usually fought and the way Leonard fought against Duran then you really are such a fanboy that debating with you is going to be literally impossible. For too much of the fight he was running without throwing, dropping to the floor, ducking down, turning his back. That is not boxing. For a few rounds against Froch i admit he did look class, but a few rounds doesn't win you a 12 round fight.

 

According to BILD Arthur Abrahams sparring partners had to wear full protection helmets instead of normal headgear. “I am boiling with rage like never before. I am going to punish Dirrell in the ring”. Abraham plans to exite his fans in the US with a convincing KO.

Are you for real? You know when we say running we don't actually mean turning your back and running away? Dirrell ran in that fight period. When he did exchange he looked the business but he wasn't interested in doing much apart from holding and falling to the canvas like a little girl.

 

TBH, what you can't argue IMO is that Abraham is a class above Froch. Harder puncher, almost unpenetrable defense, more intelligent, faster than Froch. Abraham didn't need a KO to win his fight against Taylor, unlike Froch.

Saying this, there's little doubt in my mind that Dirrell fought a bad fight against Froch. A very bad fight. Whenever he was letting his hands go, he was blasting Froch. The problem is, he didn't do that too often, plus he seemed a bit.... on the run. And whined a LOT. That's not how you win titles.

In my view, AA comes too early for Dirrell. Dirrell's been unfortunate with the order of his fights and in the Froch fight with the location. Could have done with a tune up fight, against Taylor or Kessler (who would have thought of Kessler becoming a plain tune up fighter) . Instead, he was sent to England, where, really there's as much bias as there is in Germany with the Don King cards. Should have won a decision, didn't now he is set to face probably the tournament's most dangerous opponent.

 

Dirrell had no interest in exchanging with Froch. None.

I believe AA will KO Dirrell. AA is a tough nut to crack with his defense and power.

 

Yeah but its going to be a hard fight for AA. Dirrell is going to try to run like he did against Froch.

 

Dirrell has heart, and losing to Froch by SD is how you want to lose if you lose. This is a very good fight. Dirrell will win a lot of respect if he wins...
