Margarito slated to fight in mexico. Looks like he's finished in the USA

Margarito is an incredible fighter and I loved watching him, but what he did diminishes boxing. He could have hurt Cotto and Mosley and anyone he did the glove padding against. I honestly think he lost his right to box with what he did against Mosley. I don't feel sorry for him if he is not able to box here in this country anymore.

He was knocked out... by Mosley. What's better than having him never fight again, and his last fight was a devestating loss against somebody he was expected to beat.

 

He didn't receive a 1 year suspension. His suspension was for AT LEAST 1 year.


Also, you say the pads were never determined to have plaster; that must be why he has repeatedly tried to appeal the decision... Oh wait he hasn't. His only defense has been that he says he didn't know; and his trainer admitted to all wrong doing. I am sure the trainer would have admitted to it if he hadn't really used plaster.

 

You must be confused, because there were reports that Margarito and Arum tried to appeal the decision with their lawyers. Also Capetillo admitted to using old pads his boxers at this gym use to train and protect their hands, he never admitted to wanting to use plaster pads to hurt Mosley.

I'm going by the facts here and not letting my opinion cloud whats logical.
