No one is mentioning that Floyd learned how to beat Judah during the fight while emmanuel pacman had to do it outside of the ring after losing the first time?

Pac's win over morales. to put it simply, pac won over the guy who has beaten him previously and who was p4p #6 that time..

So one guy studied tapes and implemented a gameplan, and won.

Whereas one guy didn't study tapes, he went in there, lost a few rounds, then coasted to a points decision.

I'm not getting you - which one of those equally valid and successful approaches is it that you prefer? What exactly is the point you are making?

I'm saying the most impressive thing about Mayweather beating Judah is that he learned how to pull Zab's card as he was fighting him and that he improvised the way to beat him during the fight. It only took Mayweather 3-4 rounds to technically break down Zab while it took emmanuel pacman losing a UD 12 rd decision, a few months of studying, and another couple of rounds to "get" Morales.

How can anyone not be impressed with how quick Mayweather learned and applied in this example?:think

Butt..err...Morales is a far far superior fighter to Judah. Erik showed no history ever, in a long hard career, of fading as the fight wore on. He got worse gradually in the fight because he was getting tagged and was in against a world class operator. Judah, on the other hand, had always been a bit of a frontrunner, and by Floyd's own admission, "...is a 6 round fighter". It's not about figuring out gameplan's, it's about Manny beating a far superior fighter than that of Judah in Morales, even be it a past prime version.

1.But Morales was a superior fighter to Judah, so obviously beating him is harder than beating Judah

2.You say Floyd deserves credit for working Judah out - does he deserve as much credit as Baldomir does for beating Judah before him? Does he deserve as much credit as Tszyu for knocking Judah out in 2 rounds when Zab was at his peak?

3.Did Floyd "figure out" Judah, or is Judah a mental midget who ran out of ideas, gas, and mental strength, and crumbled once Floyd put his foot on the gas?

4.Is technically breaking down Judah really a great feat of boxing? Judah has lost almost every big fight of his career... unlike Morales

5.I'll play devil's advocate with this one: Why is it impressive that Floyd took 4-5 rounds to figure Judah out? Is Judah really that complex? Surely watching some tapes of him and studying him should have been enough, then Floyd wouldn't have had to bother losing 4 rounds or so to an inferior fighter?

Morales was past it and he clearly lost to Raheem but even when he was getting schooled by Raheem he didnt look as pathetic as Judah did against Baldo where all Zab did was hold and run for dear live against a guy that was basically a journeyman.

Raheem = bad style match up for Morales, could have beaten him in his prime or given him trouble. I would say he had a very good chance of beating him.

Baldomir = Seriously? Not a hard match up even style wise.

Morales is a much better fighter than Judah anyway. Pac's win was better.

Roach also knew Morales was struggling to stay at 130 thats why he forced the rematch to be there and not 132 or 135. One of roach's little tricks he has been using trying to make the other guy drain down.
