One is a future hall of famer and an ATG.

The other lost to every top fighter he faced.

Which one would you want in your resume?

    I think its obvious.

Making fighters focus much attention on weight has several negetavive effects.

    1. They run the risk of overtraining
    2. They focus more time on losing weight than training for the actual fight.
    3. They run the risk of coming in weight drained.

    Roach is a sneeky mother****er.

Morales was past it vs Pac, no doubt.

But it's funny how they say Raheem only beat Morales cause he was past it. Hmm, right, Morales wasn't shot just yet, he was schooled horribly. But it's unthinkable Raheem could have beaten Morales in his prime. Riiight. That's as bad as any of the "*******s" outlandish statements. Nuthugging/blindness at it's finest.

i can't even believe joyboys want to debate this. the erik morales win was by far and miles ahead the better win. add to that that it was erik morlaes' first stoppage loss. you cannot even compare a mental midget in zab judah to a warrior ATG in morales. not even remotely close.

    1. I'm not disagreeing that Morales was the moar successful fighter than Zab. It only took Mayweather a mere 16 minutes to overcome someone that troubled him while emmanuel pacman needed days along with external help from his trainer.

    2. What's this have to do with the original question? It's about whether Mayweather's UD12 Judah > Pac TKO10 Morales not who had the best win over Zab. Anyways, people are arguing that Morales lost before fighting Pacquiao a 2nd time. One can argue that his confidence was shattered by having his 0 taken away.

    3. Look at how Zab was troubling him at the start with his faster handspeed, countering skills, and slickness.

    4. Again I said I was impressed with how Floyd learned so fast on his own against a guy that gave him trouble. Styles make fights.

    5. The fact that it took Mayweather only 16 minutes of losing to learn how to do it with barely any help from his trainer. Pacquiao had to get schooled over 12RDs, study moar tapes, spar, most likely get Roach to do a lot of the thinking for him, etc over the course of a few months.

I've seen the fight. And this has nothing to do with Pac. I know Morales was past it.

This is specifically about the Raheem fight. I don't think Morales was that past it, and he was outboxed by a slick boxer with a lot of movement, he wasn't in a grueling fight. Bad style match up for him.

EM was past his prime, and Judah was prime... Judah was more dangerous, and EM was a skeleton when he lost just about every round to PAc. At least Judah won rounds against the best fighter in the world...

    Good comparisons.

It's a hard one this, Morales was no doubt on the slide, he looked like a skeleton at the weigh-in, obviously struggling to make the weight.
Whereas Judah isn't fit to lace Morales' boots.

No-one knew Pacquiao was going to stop Morales, and after the first bout no-one expected it either...so it's very impressive in that sense.

Judah v Mayweather...I like the way Mayweather turned the bout around after about 4 rounds, Judah was trying really hard, conentrating, and trying to cause an upset. Mayweather figured him out in the ring, took away Judah's arsenal, and dominated the rest of the bout. People say Judah tired, he didn't tire, he just didn't have an answer.

If the question was: What was more impressive - Pac KO3 Morales, or Floyd UD12 Judah? I would have chosen Mayweather's win over Judah.

But a TKO win over Morales after he UD's you is quite impressive, whether he had lost a bit or not.

Morales wasn't finished. Pac finished Morales.
