You wan't facts? You can't handle the facts.

Fact. Arum and Kelly called Paul out and offered him a career high payday and a title shot.

Fact. Paul Williams said he wants the fight.

Fact. Paul Williams only had to initial the contract and send it back.

Fact. If Paul wanted the fight, he would have the fight.

Sorry demon, but I do not think we will ever see Pavlik/Williams. Goosen killed it with his demand for a 50-50 co-promotion. Pavlik could choose to authorize a 50-50 split on al the money; purse split, live gate, endorsements, et. He cannot order Arum to give Goosen 50% control over the fight promotion and the actual fight card. Goosen knew that when he made the demand, and he knows Arum will never agree to it.

You have 12 posts, and 11 of them consist of you bad mouthing Pavlik while contributing nothing of substance. Your references to Hopkins as "an old man" show exactly how stupid you are. Did your mother have any children who lived?

FACT. Paul Williams isn't the one who pulled out of the fight TWICE!

I SERIOUSLY cannot wait for this fight to happen and for Martinez to embarass this guy. Pavlik has to start everything through the jab which becomes ineffectual against a southpaw and he has no right hand lead. His feet are leaden and I can see him being stopped on accumalation. If KP wins this fight it's his second best win.

Pavlik has no lead right? In the past your comments made me wonder if you've ever even seen a Pavlik fight. Now I am quite sure you have not.

    Martinez - Pavlik's second best win:patsch

More like 4th or 5th best, and that is giving Martinez the benefit of the doubt.

Technically, no. Kelly asked for a postponement. Got one, didn't get the second. It was Paul that pulled the plug. Goosen is on record as saying he never signed the paper work for the second fight anyhow. So, how do you pull out of a fight the other guy never signed anyhow. So, no, you are not stating fact. THAT is a fact.

I realize the Martinez/Cintron was very controversial, but no matter how you slice it, at the end of the day, Martinez did not do enough to convince 3 judges that he deserved the win.

Martinez/Williams was a close fight. Williams got the nod, and if not for the one goofy score card there would be little to no controversey over that fight.

Ten years ago Margarito knocked Martinez out. Don't be fooled by the hype. Watch the fight. Martinez still fights exactly like he did when Tony handed him his ass.

That leaves Bunema and Roman as the only other recognizable names on Martinez's record. Martinez stopped a seriously shop-worn version of Bunema. The prime time version lost to McKart, Ouma, and Taylor. Martinez stopped Roman, but so did Rubio and Soto-karrass. Roman lost everytime he tried to step up.

So, somebody please tell me how the **** this guy is in the same league with Kelly Pavlik. We've had thread after thread after thread on this fight, and not one snigle poster has put forth a real fight plan that allows Martinez to win this.
