Not trying to debate Mandy and Geale, was just using Geale as an example.

I like Calzaghe & Mayweather, and most fighters really.
I even like Mandys technical ability, and I don't think I've ever denied that, it's him that I don't like.

I don't only like boxers because of their ability, I have to like the person too, and Mandys portrays himself to be an utter idiotic twat, a cheat and a fraud.
Whether he is really like that is anyones guess, the media are responsible for a lot of BS, though some of the things he's stooped to, even the media can't exaggerate it.

I like humble natured people, a bit of fun leading up to fights is ok, but the big mouths leave me cold. Particularly when it's rarely (never) backed up.

A little, but look who they're fighting by comparison to Mandy.
And Vics first language isn't even english, yet he can string sentences better than Mandy.
Someone like Mandy shouldn't be saying much at all in the public eye.

Mundine's public persona is far less brash than money's and equally funny to listen to. Arrogant sports figures are by far and away better to follow as a fan :deal

I know what Choc says sometimes rubs people up the wrong way but anybody who knows him will tell you hes a great person. Watching him grow up hes never caused any trouble for anyone. The people he has helped is just unbelievable. I asked him to come to Nowra 2 weeks ago to help the promoter who was struggling. It wasnt a problem for him. Anybody who bags Choc does not know him. With Tony as your father what kid is giving cheek.

He doesn't back up his talk Ash, and you know it.
Do we need to mention Pavlik again? Or stepping it up and going overseas..... it goes on and on, and you guys keep swallowing it.

That may be so, but it's difficult to swallow when he continually portrays himself to be a dumb fraud to the media.
And he makes claims he hasn't backed up.

    That's a problem.

Yes he does, ask danny green.

Please don't attempt to play the pavlik card again, it got beaten last time you tried to.

If you can't see his persona as being tongue in cheek when promoting a fight that's more a perception problem you have.

Reckon that's the thing Flash - his media persona is not that nice, generous person.

The people who critisize Mundine, myself included, don't know him, but dislike the at times obnoxious image he paints of himself.

What about him? He's not the example I'm using.
I'm talking about all the guys he's supposedly called out and then ducked.
Who did he fight straight after Danny Green?
    Truth hurts.
Well, you're the minority with regards to that, so maybe it's you who has the perception problem.
