NOT AT ALL...U DO KNOW WHY THEY PUT WEIGHT CLASSES IN THIS SPORT DON'T YOU? AGAIN..U CAN'T MAKE A VALID ARGUMENT TO SUPPORT YOUR CLAIM:deal
I've been in the gym before on multiple occasions and have sparred with lightweights who I outweighed by 40 pounds or more. Their punches had no effect on me and although they were quick they were by no means un- hittable and if I tried to hurt them I could have done so with little effort. The size disparity is simply too much for Pac to overcome especially against a guy like Hopkins who's a master technician and counter-puncher to boot.
Oscar was a lot bigger than Manny is man. So of course he was alot more cautious against him. He wouldn't need to be nearly as cautious against a man he would dwarf in the ring. After about 3 rounds the fight would be over.
Wasn't Hopkins considering a heavyweight fight a long time ago? I believe there were murmurs of him fighting Maskaev. As for the fight it's too late. Hopkins already called out Pacquiao at 170 but the latter was too scared [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxJw3ykRHeI"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxJw3ykRHeI[/ame]
Bhop should beat Pac, but I don't doubt Pac would show some heart, and flashes of greatness. I'll say 80/20 in favor of Bhop...I just cannot count Pac out at this point against basically anybody. He's the Jackie Chan of boxing!
If Manny had a hard time with Marquez's counters forget it. Hopkins will shoulder roll Manny to death and counter all night. Manny will have a hard time landing and hurting him. Plus Hopkins is a bully he will wrestle butt elbow his way to win and Manny will not be ready for it. Manny may go 5 but that may be about it.
I'm a Manny fan but this match is ridiculous. No match. Hopkins best wins came against smaller fighter so figure it out yourself.
This is the most bizarre match-up I've ever hear of... this is even more bizarre then when I posted a Miguel Cotto vs. Julian Jackson thread
JEEEEEEESUUUUUS! Bull**** like this thread, and the Tommy Hearns-Pac thread are why people call you guys *******s and ****. And then you have the nerve to ask "How can someone root against a guy like Pac?" You guys are ****ing stupid to even be discussing this! Bhop is a ****in light heavyweight who just raped Kelly ****in Pavlik at 170, and you ****ing ignorant *******s are in here arguing about whether he can beat a guy who barely makes it up to 147?!?!? sdsfinest, pimpc, ....ENOUGH! You should be ashamed of yourselves for even giving legitimacy to thi nonsense.
Ya cuz light weights in your gym are like Roberto ****in Duran who can go from 135 to 168 and still knock mother ****ers out cold. ****... B Hop don't fight like that. I know B Hop. He won't do anything to let himself get hit. That's not the style of fighter he is. And I don't give a **** if they have no effect on him. Did Calzaghe's punches affect him that much? That's what I thought....
Oscar was SMALL compared to B Hop. He might have weighed a pound more on the weigh in, but that was his weight. B Hop rehydrated and was just bigger. Oscar didn't even look good at 160. He almost got the fight sabotaged by almost gettin a loss against that German mother ****er was his name. My point is, B Hop does not like to look bad. He will cautiously outpoint Manny, winning every round, and then knock him out in the second half of the fight. He goes out and throws bombs, Manny lands punches.
