Why even the comparison to begin with??? DLH - Morales would be a better comparison.

Its close, people forget Judah was top10 P4P too after beating Spinks. Judah lost to Baldomir because he didnt train, Morales lost to Raheem because he wasnt good enough anymore and Raheem won pretty much every round. Raheem wasnt bigger than Morales, he was fighting at featherweight himself and Morales was a very BIG SFW himself. Morales was also drained at 130lbs thats why he fought at LW in the first place. Judah some thought lived up to his true potential in the Mayweather fight. Morales achieved far more, but Judah was a prodigy who was once called 'Pernell Whitaker with power'

Stylistically very very different fighters, so hard to choose

morales/barrera are miles ahead of corrales/castillo. you cannot compare two all time greats to two barely HOF fighters.

Corrales at 130 would have stopped the version of Morales that Pac beat. Infact Zahir went on to lose to Frietas who was KO'd by Corrales 2 years before.

Barrera is tricky because there is no visible sign that he was fading, but Pac was arguably the bigger man, Floyd was smaller and outweighed massively against both Corrales and Castillo.

As a combo I'd take Corrales and Castillo as a duo over the versions of Morales and Barrera Pac beat.

coralles would not stop morales at 130. corrales was too slow for morales.
pac, was not the bigger man in the first barrera fight. pac was coming from 122 and it was his first fight at 126. morales was pac's first fight at 130.

and head-to-head, you cannot even compare the two because corrales and castillo where both naturally bigger fighters. pound-for-pound, both morales and barrera would beat corrales and castillo.

fact is, when pac and floyds, beat them, barrera and morales are the two bigger wins.

Corrales looked slow because he was fighting Floyd Mayweather. Same way Morales looked like his feet was stuck in mud when he fought Barrera. Raheem.

Corrales was a brawler who could box, a Morales without his stamina, punch resistance and speed would be no match for a 130lb Chico who was destroying everyone.

Corrales beat Casamayor who was much faster then Morales at that stage in his career. Hell a shot Casamayor fought a close fight with Marquez who was coming off his fight with Pacquiao

After the pre-fight weigh in Pacquiao and Barrera showed very little distance, Pac might have outweighed him on the night. Both Corrales and Castillo outweighed Floyd close to 10lbs, not really a good comparison.

ATG wise Morales and Barrera were better and accomplished more, I dont think they were as good when Pac beat them as the versions of Corrales and Castillo Floyd beat.

However I do hold his victory over Marquez greater then all 4 of these guys. I think Marquez was prime and would have beaten anyone from 130-140 at the time.

Judah had something left in the tank, Morales was done and it showed in the Raheem fight.

FMJ's win over a mental midget perennial loser impresses his fans, also perennial losers.

    What a surprise.

People on ESB overestimate the Raheem loss. Nobody even considered it anything more than a blip, which is why Morales stayed on the P4P list. The only place I've seen it mentioned so much, is here, by people desperate to tarnish Pacquiao.

It was just one of those fights. It happens in boxing.

Basically agree. Judah was razor sharp, Morales... Eh... Not so much.

I'm very, very glad that Pac-Morales II has won this vote by a crushing margin. Amidst all the usual mudslinging, favouritism and petty hatreds, this forum can still collectively make the right choice; it restores my faith. And this wasn't just another puerile Pac-Floyd tug-of-love, it was a genuine question which I and most others seemed to answer honestly.

If the question had been Pac-Morales III or Mayweather-Judah, I'd have voted for Mayweather-Judah, because Morales was pretty much a broken man after suffering the first real KDs and the 1st stoppage of his career in the 2nd Pac fight. But the right answer here was Pac-Morales II (imo). Nice work ESB.

the morales who fought pac 1st fight and first half of the 2nd fight would definitely box corrales ears off, especially the weight-drained version that floyd fought. and all this even if morales is p4p smaller than chico.

you guys think that if pacquiao stopped morales in the 2nd fight corrales could do it also? chico is not pacquiao, too slow.

when pac first fought MAB, pac still has this frame of a jr. featherweight. he looks smaller than barrera definitely and his first time to fight at the weight. by the time floyd fought chico at 130, corrales has been having a hard-time maintaining the weight and it was documented on the HBO pre-fight broadcast.

if i have to rank it from the most impresive wins...

    1. pac tko 11 barrera
    2. floyd tko10 chico
    3. pac tko10 morales
    4. pac SD12 marquez
    5. floyd UD castillo
