    Gives me pause seeing another Italian there. An Italian scored rounds 11 and 12 for Froch in Dirrells last fight.

    Laurence Cole is the referee!!! I don't even want to think about what will happen if the fight gets dirty. Abraham probably would have been better off with Joe Blow from Flint.

    actually the ref is, like George Foreman said, "The most important man in the ring apart from the two fighters" :lol: and should definately be NEUTRAL. That is crucial imo.

    How is the situation solved? the rules are the ref has to come from a neutral country. This ref is from the USA. The rules are being broken.

    Laurence Cole shouldn't reffing any fight, let alone one of this magnitude. Makes me sick.

    On an honest note, the only mistake I've seen Laurence Cole make is in that JMM fight.

    Other than that he's an experienced good ref.

    All looks good for saturday.
