Dog****. The first fight was FOTY but it wasn't even PPV. This isn't PPV material. Both fighters are coming off of loses. Marquez gets nothing buy this and Diaz has been bloating his way up the 140's only to lose and come back down to fight a man that clearly knocked him out. This should be non-PPV if it takes place... Marquez has better options out there.

This is just the latest proof that HBO is totally up the ass of GoldenBoy. No other promoter could have talked HBO into carrying this into a PPV.

I've been defending HBO recently, but not this time. What a **** card.

JMM is a PPV king (at least that's what I heard in September)

I'm sure HBO would have preferred this on WCB. They probably made an offer and GBP said it wasn't enough. GBP decides it's going to PPV with or without HBO. HBO likes both fighters, recognizes that JMM does have name value and the first fight was great, so they decide to be a part of the broadcast. This won't do huge #s but it shouldn't flat out bomb. I would not blame HBO at all for this going to PPV.

I read they are trying to have it in Vegas. but it would do much better in H Town. :good The first fight was sold out and it was krump up in the Toyota Center. I don't see it being like that in Vegas.

The Hitmans not retired. Katsidis is fighting Mitchell. And Diaz is fighting Bojan.

HBO has been judicious lately about going to PPV realizing they had a problem a couple years ago. Two fighters coming off losses, with one old and the other prematurely declined, makes no sense as a PPV main event.

If GBP wanted more money than WBC, HBO should have told them good luck.

You're right, Katsidis is fighting Mitchell on May 15 in Upton Park, England. Frank Warren (Mitchells promoter) won the purse bids two or three weeks ago.
