Patterson seriously had heart though, he got up from nearly every one of those kd. He even rematched the man who destroyed him easily(Liston) only last just 6 seconds longer than the first time! He was KD several times in his KO loss to Ingemar Johanssen only to clean KHTFO(courtesy of the leaping left hook) in the rematch to become the first ever two time heavyweight champ. He also held the distinction of being the youngest heavyweight champ in history before Mike Tyson came along and broke that record(being trained by the same trainer Cus D'amato no less)
