The dude has fought what 57 fights at heavyweight that really isnt that many knockdowns.. Considering how many were in two fights.. 5 or 6 of them? He also has never stayed down form a punch and that says something.. Tua also was almost ko'd by rachman in their second fight, at the end of the twelth he went down and it should of been called a knockdown... Also Has tua ever won a belt? the dude lose whenever he stepped up against the best..

I'm pretty sure he wasn't. He was down exactly twice. Once to Jersey Joe Walcott and once to Archie Moore. Period. Source any other claims.

I doubt it since Marciano had a rock for a chin. Moore knocked him down for a two count and Walcott scored a KD.

Thats crazy. I dont get this: One guy can't take a punch for ****, the other absorbs it as if it was a pillow:huh
Especially Klitschko family. Wlad has a weak chin Vitaliy rock solid. I dont get this. I would thin they have the same genetic bone structure.:huh

There's got to be more to it than that. Diet (growing up or out of training I mean, not you CHEF), neck length and width even, somebody broke a mirror or pissed off a witch, something. The Marquez brothers seem to have a significant difference in durability too.

Didn't Holmes go down a few times. Ocasio and Shavers and Tyson?

I think i'm right in saying that Wlad is second only to Patterson.

I'm sure someone here knows the answer. I just thought he deserved mention because he certainly belongs with the worst of them.

This may not be that fair of a question (like I'm surprised) because of the difference in eras. Because damn, up through guys like Dempsey, Carnera, Patterson, refs could see a dude get knocked down six times in the same round and every time they waited on you like if you weren't getting up immediately you were a *****. Dude would get dropped and look like he was making snow angels, eyes rolling back in his head, ref impatiently counting. "1, thesepeoplepaidtoseeafight 2, getcherbitchassupalready..."

lol, exactly. And basically pre-1930 the fight carried on until one of the fighters was in a coma. If you're fighting for 20-odd rounds you're bound to go over at some point.
