I dont hate him at all. I watch all his fights. But some of his fans are the most delusional I have ever come across. I dont care how much you like the guy, as a boxing fan with even a small knowledge of the sport, you couldnt seriously believe that quote even if you wanted to.
They're called ignorant fans ... and yes, you get them in MMA as well. More so now with the whole UFC going on. You don't have to pass any boxing history exam to become of member of ESB; just look at comments, examine them, and think whether you should or shouldn't post back. (Hence my post count).
Amen You got joyboys, *******s, Haye nutuggers (who are out in full force at the moment desecrating every thread about the Klitschkos with their ****) Klit huggers etc and guess what, every single one of them has dumbass fans. You know why? It's because they are big names. When boxers become big stars they attract casuals to the sport. Casuals obviously don't have as much boxing knowledge as the hardcore group, doesn't matter whether they're fans of Pac, Floyd, Klit or whoever. Hell, even some of the hardcore fans are dumbasses too. You fools are acting like bitches arguing about who's got the dumbest fans etc. It's one thing to make threads like this but how you gonna argue about which fans are the dumbest and act superior as if fans of your fave fighter all have a phd in boxing? Get a grip. On ESB the most dumbass poster is JacoryHariss who's a joyboy but it don't mean all Floyd fans are like that. Look at Scar, he's a real dude. I'm a ******* but give Floyd credit even though I dislike him. You know some boxers who have very few ignorant fans? People like Gamoboa, Frankie Gavin, Ivan Calderon, Israel Vasquez etc? You know why? Cuz the average mother****a has never heard of these fools, only people who watch boxing regularly. If they were superstars, guess what? They'd have ignorant fans too, jeez. I'd say you don't understand what the author of this Quote wanted to say... I read it this way - Wlad fights at only 60 % of his potential, would he give full 100 %, he would be the greatest fighter ever. So you can argue about this for as long as you prefer, is he fighting at 60 % or 80 % or already at 100 % of his abilityl? It's hard to say, for you can only see what he does, not what he would be able to do... So it's practicaly impossible to say how good he could be unless he shows it... Imagine an athlete who needs 15 seconds for 100 meter, you'd laugh him out, but if his fans would say, he runs at only 60 %, he could be the fastest man on the planet if he would run at 100 % of his ability. For it would be true, if he needs 15 seconds at 60 %, it would mean 9 seconds at 100 % so he would be faster then Usain Bolt. The problem is, if Wlad already wins easily without having to give 100 %, you never know if he's giving 50 % or 70 % or 90 %... He gives enough to win, and I can't blame him for not taking unnecessary risks. With Usain Bolt you still can argue if he's really the fastest man ever, or maybe Carl Louis would have been faster if he had today's training possibilities. But still, nobody ever ran faster then Bolt, so you still compare the fastest runners by the time only. To compare boxers who didn't fight each other is almost impossible, for you can compare them only indirectly, based on the achievements and on the competition they faced. But is Wlad's competition that bad or is Wlad that good, or somewhere in between? Imagine there were no Klitschkos, then you'd probably have Arreola and Peter for champions, and imagine they would fight each other in an all-and-out slugfeast, you would be thinking they're new Ali and Foreman and Tyson and Lewis, right? And now when Klitschkos have beaten them both, you'd say they're just bums, right? But are they really bums or just had too good competition in Wlad and Vitali? You will never be able to tell for sure how would Wlad fare against the prime Ali, Foreman, Tyson and Lewis. You can either think they would KO him, or he would KO them, depends on if you're a fan or a hater. But you will still never know, there's no way to prove the point either was, it's just pure speculation...
But lets be honest, his last fight was against a Cruiserweight. People call Haye a small heavyweight, but Chambers was tiny. He had so many disadvantages going in to the fight. Also add his serious lack of power, he was never going to hurt Wlad anyways. So fighting at 60% against opposition like this, will always result in a win for Wlad. He only needs to keep his range and pop the jab. Wlad will have to be better than 60% against Haye, as Haye will get close and he will test that chin. But c'mon making assumptions that he's only at 60%? who knows he could be closer to 100% perhaps his ability stops there, with the keep range, jab right hand. Whose to say he has more ability than that? We've not seen him progress in any other way. I don't actually think there is much more to come, this is Wlad lock stock and barrel and he will fight exactly the same against Haye if the fight is made. Be it at 60% or 100% who cares, he's only got one way to win and thats out jabbing his man, wearing him down and SOMETIMES provided he gets enough of a blasting from Steward, go for the finish.
I don't like Klit or his supporters, and I also don't understand Haye supporters, or how people believe that he is a legitimate heavyweight. I thought his performance against Monte Barrett was poor to say the least and he danced around Valuev for 12 rounds. What has he done at heavweight people? :-(
Yeah but unlike you I keep it real. You can check my post history to see what I think of Floyd as a fighter. I'm not delusional and know whats up. I know your a big hater of Pac and are too busy riding Floyds dick to give credit when credit is due, and your entire world revolves around Floyd fans vs Pac fans but some of us are real dudes. You're exactly the type of idiot I talked about in my earlier post. Thanks for showing up.
