You have to admit that the stadium itself played a huge role in promoting of the fight but it could not have been done successfully without the name Pacquiao. I don't think Mayweather would have done those #s vs Clottey, plus he would have to talk up a storm for 3 months straight unlike Pacquiao who lets his fists do the talking.

 

A fight that occurred in 2006 has little relevance to a fight in 2010. Both guys were pre-DLH. Mayweather was not a crossover, household name in 2006. He was a fraction of what he is now.
