Yes. Ezzard Charles was down 30 times in his career.

Patterson was down 18 times in his career.

 

Golota is no champ, but he was down more often than Wladimir.
Joe Louis was also knocked down in the double digits, I think...

 

Why me?

Wlad has a relatively bad chin. There's no denying it unless you put the blinders on. The man almost never gets hit clean on the chin, and when he does, he goes down a good percentage of the time.

I'm no Rico, but I always find it funny when someone tries to argue that Wlad or Amir Khan doesn't have a bad chin. Both of them have blatantly bad chins. That's why it's so easy to call out. And that's why both of them have developed styles of offense that keep their opponents from being able to land on their chins.

 

I think Herbie Hide (if you count the WBO title) was down almost as much in one fight (against Bowe) then Wlad in his entire career.

Really i dont remember saying he has a great chin.. Does he have a bad chin no... he would have more losses if he really had a china chin also he would of stayed on the floor like lewis rach 1 if his chin was as bad as people say it is.. His chin isnt great it also inst china much like lewis when you are dominating your comp .. people have to find some excuse to slag off on you.

it looks like it was actually after the bell but he was knocked down by a punch... Tua is more Hype then substance his best knockout was who a young ruiz besides that he has been outclassed everytime he has stepped up... I was rooting for him against Lewis but seen that he is one dimensional and punches lose steam when you have to swing so high.. I doubt Tua will be able to land on wlad let alone hard enough to knock him down:deal

Louis was down 10 times in his career.... Marciano was down perhaps 2 times.. Frazier was down around 9 times... Wlad has been dropped 10 times..
