completely different type of opponent, you're right. AA has a ton of patience and he'll need it. But by the later rounds, he may end up swinging for the fences.

I'm glad Dirrell didn't have any weight issues this time. Should be a good, competitive fight. I'm going to stick something on Dirrell, though.

James Toney and Evander Holyfield were originally small men. It goes to show that physical size has nothing to do with chin. Abraham took Miranda's punches and Miranda punches like a heavyweight, he punched Abraham hard enough to shatter his chin and Abraham wasn't even hurt in that fight or in any fight I can remember.

So why wouldn't he be able to take a heavyweight punch?

I think Dirrell will give AA some problems but AA will catch him at some point

AA might win it via late KO while being down on points.

Sinan Samil Sam among others have given Abraham serious praise after sparring him. Sinan said he punches harder than most heavyweights he ever fought and reportedly Abraham even knocked down cruiserweight champion Marco Huck.

If Abraham wins convincingly I will be blown away.
If he can beat a fighter like Dirrell he'd have to be considered one of the great super middle's ever.

But, I think Dirrell will take this.

ad by decision and after the win he should be 2-0 in the tournament.

Miranda wobbled him a couple of times in their first fight and Lajuan Simon hurt him with a left hook. To his credit, he did recover quickly everytime, and I'd still say he has a damn good chin. But to suggest he'd be able to stand up to a heavyweight punch, even in this era of heavyweights, may be a bit far-fetched.

This fight is going to be a virtual rerun of Pacquiao vs Clottey with Dirrell playing the WaPakMan role. Either result is good though, like both fighters.

I know that Abraham sparred with Povetkin for his fight with Chambers. Arthur has sparred with some big dudes, and it would really be quite impressive if he dropped Marco in sparring as Huck has a solid chin.
