I don't know if anyone's updated everyone on this yet, but apparently Guzman is 9 pounds overweight :patsch, but the figtht will go on anyway with the following stipulations:

Guzman cannot weight more than 150 on fight night.:good
Funeka wins and he takes the title home.:good

This is pretty disrespectful and disgraceful, but what can you do?:huh

Great. Guzman took the law into his own hands and balanced out Funeka's ridiculously unfair physical advantages by coming in a little over the limit.

Now if Funeka's team grows some balls and changes the max weight allowed to 180, then we should see a more neutral (but still unjust to Joan) fight.

Coming in at 6'2'' for a LW fight should be a crime. Funeka is fighting a fat featherweight for a title at 135 and getting extra money for it, he should be jumping for joy.

I agree with you ... I believe in my eyes even if is not in the rules what these guys do of gaining 15 ****ing pounds over the night its ****ing cheating at least both will weight the same on fight night, I think the same of all the rest who do this like Margarito, Williams, Baldomir, Clotey, etc.. fight in your ****ing weight class not in the one you can take advantage, its ridiculous and unfair the rules right now, they should change the weight-in to the fight day, not in the same moment of the fight but a few hours before its unfair these cheaters get such a huge advantage "playing by the rules" its patetic in my eyes I have never supported it and I wont, at least funeka will eat some of his own medicine **** him...

Until they change it to same-day weigh-ins, a guy does not have the right to take it into his own hands and estimate what the other guy will weigh, and then come in over.

Guys who do that **** should lose their belts.
