Freddie Roache recently said this in an interview with ESPN as to a reason he thinks the fight will go ahead.
I really hope they are not hoping and waiting for Mayweather to drop the drug testing if Pac drops the lawsuit as i really don't think that the lawsuit bothers mayweather enough for him to drop the blood testing over it.
    What do you'se think?

nope. his rep is already damaged. pac will walk out with thousands without even throwing a punch.

I doubt that's the negotiating position. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the boxing press releases were really carried in collusion to maximize profit. Their lawsuit seems to be more marketing than it does tort.

the better question would have been the other way around -- "will Pacquiao drop the lawsuit if Mayweather drops the drug tests and agrees to fight him"?

Pacquiao should keep the law suit and take the tests for evidence.

nah he wont do that. that doesnt make business sense. in his mind, he stands to lose way more risking his future earnings against someone who he suspects could be on enhancers, than he would in this lawsuit.

The Mayweather's dont care about the lawsuit, so that trade off is pointless to them. It only favors Team Pac.

If Floyd ever drops the blood test to fight pac that’s the day I stop being fan of Floyd and boxing period! And if roach and pac believe he’s going drop the test for some bull **** lawsuit they’re dumber than I thought.

I’m a fan of clean athletes and people who stand for what’s right. the fact that boxing doesn’t have OLST in 2010 is a disgrace to the sport.

I was thinking all along that Pac will eventually take the test.
The moment he does people will praise him for stepping up and Mayweather will be up-ended again.

I have always maintained that Manny truly believes drawing blood from him affects him negatively. He wants to be in 100% condition in fighting arguably the hardest fight of his career. He doesn't want to give up that edge however minuscule it is. It's also possible that they needed more time to train against PBF and playing hardball - stalling. I doubt this though.

Tests in exchange for the lawsuit is also very likely to happen.

Can you name other sports who does have one, officially?
All of them is a disgrace then, damn them all.

Your man doesn't stand for what's right. He stands for himself don't be a fool.

I truly don’t believe boxing fans know how dangerous boxing is compare to other sports. Cheaters are bad in general but boxers who cheat are simply putting other people’s life in danger. Pbf might be doing it for his own self interest but that doesn’t make it wrong for the sport.

Hey speak for yourself. Well we all know that. I'm just calling out your Mayweather BS.
We're not saying don't catch the cheat. Everyone agrees better testing is needed in boxing. All I am saying is do it properly, through the proper venue.
