It's almost impossible to comprehend how much of a **** Joan Guzman is.

 

Guzman AGREED to a contracted weight. Funeka AGREED to the same contracted weight.
Doesn't matter how tall somebody is. There your same damn weight! For all you people who make it out be ok cuz "Funeka is tall!" Let me ask ya...Would you guys be scared to fight a man who weighs the exact same as you...Cept this man is 6 inches taller?

I lift a ton of weights, weigh 175, bench 300...But I'm only 5'7 so I box like Tyson. If I'd fight a guy on the street who's 6'2 175, I'd rush to the inside, and proceed to beat his *scrawny* ass! Work the hell of his longass body! I'm pretty big at 5'7 175. At 6'2 175 he isn't! I might eat a punch, or two, but if I get on the inside I'd finish it.

So, NO I'm not scared of somebody who's much taller than me, and *scrawny*. Reach advantage means jack **** if you know how to fight. Besides, if Guzman weighs 9 pounds over the contracted weight...What's to say he won't weigh EVEN MORE come fight night? He may weigh much more than Funeka even comes in at after hydrating himself! I doubt Funeka hydrates much more than 9 pds

I think most that are defending Guzman thinks that a fighter that is way taller is more dangerous then a fighter weighing 9 more rounds on the weigh in not even try to make the weight.



Many talk about Funeka 6'2 height but wow!!!!!! There are plenty of taller fighters that was in the past but some are in the present. Hell Valuev is 7'0 in height and weighs around the 320's but yet a smaller fighters like Ruiz who barely lost, Holyfield got robbed, Haye won over that huge giant. Williams who is likely 6'3 lost to 5'9 Quintana.

 

I agree. But this is why they should fakking go back to weight limit at fight night, so BIG boxers stay out of the lower weights. If you can't make the limit on fight night, you don't belong in that division.

If Guzman cant make weight why dont he move up **** !!! I swear that guy is a piece of **** seriously. At one point I thought he was a good up and coming fighter but now his momentum slow down since pulling out of the fight with Nick !!!

 

im starting to think that not making weight is joan's way of ducking .. i mean, 9 pounds is unexcusable and he knew goddamn well that it would jerprodize the fight.

im happy that the fight is still on and more importantly ali's gonna beat the living **** outta guzman AGAIN
