    It's a ****ing disgrace.

People defending Guzman for doing this are insane. Just to make an analogy, can you imagine Pacquiao demanding he can fight at 144 and wanting Floyd to come in for 135 since Floyd is taller and has a huge reach advantage? Or Tyson fighting
middleweights? Would anyone think that is fair? I think not.

    It's a ****ing disgrace.

You got all these fools trying to fit in the lowest division possible, and Funeka is one of them. If Funeka thought it was so unprofessional, he would have called off the fight. In this case, no one is endangered because there won't be a weight advantage for Guzman.

Do you know what it takes to put on a fight for all the participants involved or the pressure that is on Funeka or how common it is to even get an abc title shot?

There's no problem for Funeka, he still got all the physical advantages, and he'd still beat Guzman.

    People are missing the point.

Funeka is taller and Guzman will certainly weigh no more on fight night. Funeka is just better than Guzman at dehydrating and a bigger, taller man naturally.

Because of Guzman's lack of talent in the art of dehydration, he would be dying to make the weight. Now we have a fight, both boxers weighing about 150 on fight night and neither will have died making the weight. This leads to the fairest, highest quality fight possible.

Maybe there is a need to change it and call it height division instead of weight division.
