Who's fans are the biggest disgrace to the sport?

Saying "Who's fans are the biggest disgrace to the sport?" implies that there is a worst set of fans and that one fighter in particular discernibly has them.

The worst fans are those who can't even try to be objective and have a knee-jerk response of seeing any criticism of 'their fighter' as being:

a.) automatically wrong
b.) cast-iron nut-huggery from elsewhere

There's not an elite or near-elite fighter on the planet that doesn't have fans of this type. You could say that the fighter with the most fans therefore has the most fans of this type but, to be honest, I can't say that any one set of fans has proportionally fewer idiots than any other.

 

I had to say pac. Only because it seems like how when a chick will tell me she loves the yankeees..and when I ask her something and she giggles and says..."I don't know....I only love derick jeter"

Not the majority but like new crops growing are pacfans and not so much boxing fans...

Even guys that never gave a **** about boxing that love mma that I just don't deal with will say "that manny pac is amazing" to spark some conversation...

It just seems like there are many fans of pac and not boxing itself.... again though... that's not manny's fault.

This is a sports business. They supposed to have fans - casual, experts, hardcore, fly by night, etc. What you think every Patriots fans are not ******ed to every Colts fan? Does than mean Patriot fans are bad for boxing?

This thread would just be a matter of opinion and no facts and knowledge would be presented. What is the point of being a fan, all fans are the same no matter how you twist it or try to compare and contrast. All fans support their team or individual and have the right to. Boxing is different from any sport were you could always make an argument and not be right or wrong. It's just a matter of opinion. A fan is a fan and none are a disgrace to the sport, that's what makes boxing the best sport in the world. Not the fighters, promoters, trainers, etc., but the fans themselves.:good
