Man you know these *******s are immune to the truth.

Evidence is laying all over the Internet that Pac and all of his boys are lying. Then someone strings a video of their lies together and these *******s say it was a setup with videos of THEM talking? :patsch:nut

Nope. Mayweather never signed the contract....until it was revised after the weigh-in....then, after about three months, about 30 hours before the match, after Marquez agreed to a higher weight, he signed it.

What the articles(and many more like them) say is that Mayweather disregarded the Nevada State Atheletic Commission's requirement for the submission of a signed contract, instead waiting until just minutes before the official weigh-in because the fighters had weighed-in before the official weigh-in, revised Mayweather's copy before he signed it, and made a new copy for Marquez to sign.

I'm not pursuing any anti-Mayweather agenda here....I just believe that the Mayweather camp got away with unprecedented sleazy, possibly illegal strongarm tactics and forced the Marquez camp into showing up with essentially no chance of winning.

    Don't spew your lies!

Marquez is the pound-for-pound number 2 and the fight is for the P4P number 2 position, with the winner getting the number 1 position and the loser the number 2.

Just ask EZE because he knows more than anybody in the entire universe about Floyd. Infact, he can debate you ad nauseaum that Floyd never came in overweight in that fight.

According to the source, the Marquez camp knew Wednesday night that Mayweather would not make weight because Mayweather's team made overtures to Golden Boy Promotions in an effort to have Marquez agree to change weight on the bout agreements to be filed with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
However, Marquez's contract had already been filed reading 144 pounds, according to commission executive director Keith Kizer. But Kizer said the bout agreement was retrieved from the commission by Golden Boy Promotions and changed to 147 with Marquez initialing it.
    .................

You're free to choose who to believe, Dan Rafael's recollection or written articles at that time when it was happening.

The dissapointment with me was that GBP did not fight for their fighter, JMM.

Its obvious that with the signed contracts needed to be turned in with the commision on wednsday, that Mayweather unexplicably was'nt going to even attempt to make the contracted weight......

Not only did GBP not go up to bat for Marquez in regards to forcing Mayweather to attempt to make weight, nothing can be explained as to why the hell GBP did'nt at least make Mayweather forfiet what would have been the NSAC fine for coming in over weight........
.....that fine by the commision was supposed to have been 10% if you came in two lbs over.....and 20% if it was more than that.

Mayweather took home in excess of 10million, meaning he would have been fined by the commision well over 1 million dollars for beng overweight.

......GBP only worked out an agreement and got Marquez 600K.:patsch

.......any other promoter who is truly working for his fighter in exchange for re-writing the contract, would have insisted Mayweather forfiet more than what the commision was going to fine him.

Mayweather ended up forfieting to Marquez 600K, when under any other circumstance (GBP here having a silent vested interest in Mayweather) Marquez would have gotten double that.
