For those who want to see Gamboa fight tomorrow live!!!!

Is it a case of Gamboa boxing and avoiding careless mistakes, yet dominating against a good fighter or a case of Gamboa not being as good as hyped?

Yep, and if he fights somebody real he will pay for it. Barros is tough but offers not much aside of that. I guess if it would be JuanMa instead of Barros in there the fight would be over right now.

 

Gamboa is getting some rounds in. He is carrying his opponent. He's like a Featherweight version of RJJ, fast hands, entertaining (when he wants to be) powerful, and chinny.

 

you know two of some of his knockdowns are illegitamte right? one from an elbow and one was a slip.

 

Underwhelming performance to be honest. He showed too little respect for his opponent.

 

Gamboa boxing but still being cocky and careless against a fighter with a padded record. Put he did dominate but didnt look all that great at all.

 

Gamboa is good and i like him as a fighter but people go overboard with fighters.. they overhyped boxers when they look good.. and then when they look bad they are scrubs.. watch how now everybody is gonna shift and say gamboa is overrated

Yuriorkis looked kinda beatable in this fight... was Barros just a tough sonofabitch or did Gamboa have an off-night?

is juan ma overrated? because the way he looked against Mtagwa tells me he is. and the way he avoid caballero it tells me he is.
