I think it would be a good fight. Just as much of a toss up as Mosley v Mayweather IMO

I think if Paul Williams used his size more effectively he would be as close to as unbeatable as one can get at 147. He dose not and he is not. I think Floyd Mayweather should be able to counter him and win a decision 8-4.

 

100 punches a round thrown by a freak of nature with unlimited stamina and an 82 inch reach?

Floyd's a defensive wizard but good luck dodging everything Long Tall Paul throws.

If you're smart you know Floyd wins however.

 

Quintana was three years ago.



Martinez was at 160, and Martinez has certain characteristics Floyd just doesn't have. Like Pop in his punches, southpaw stance, and a couple of inches height.



I just don't think Floyd has the nuts to stand in there, and he would get beaten badly at midrange. Also, he would probably lose every round from 9-12, once Paul begins to pour on the pressure and workrate.
