And what has changed in Williams form?

And MArtinez also doesnt have the speed, technique, defense nor stamina of a Floyd Mayweather.

I see Mayweather tagging Williams with left hooks all night leaping in and out.

Leaping out is where Floyd will have the problem.

Paul doesn't pause when hit. He throws back immediately, and will be able to catch Floyd going out. Floyd has good stamina, but this is one fight where he will not have that advantage. Paul is by far the best conditioned guy around, to be throwing the type of punches he does constantly, and not even be remotely fatigued... Look at the Winky, Martinez, and Margarito fights.

I do however agree, Floyd would present a major problem with his style, but as the fight wears on, Floyd gets pummeled.

Floyd has good defense and is a counter puncher. After watching Paul against Sergio I just don't see how Paul does as good, let alone better, against Mayweather. I'd love to be able to honestly say Paul could win this fight, but I really can't see it. Paul is going to have to show some discipline that was sorely lacking in the Martinez fight. I think Floyd goads him into Floyd's fight.

Floyd doesn't have oneshot power like a 160 Martinez. That's the only thing that kept Paul even remotely off of him. But it never slowed him down. Floyd is only slightly faster, although he has better foot movement.

I just don't think Floyd has enough output.

When has Martinez ever been a power puncher? He only has a 50% KO rate and has been fighting journeymen the last 10 years.

Williams head was rocking just like Quintana had it rocking. Is Quintana a power puncher?

Williams sucks agaisnt counter punchers dude. And Floyds the best in the game.

Well, I'd still honestly like to see Paul get the fights he deserves at 147 so we could find out. If Shane beats May we might see that since Pac will go to 140 to defend his belts there. At least that is the word. Hell, if Shane loses Paul might still be the best fight for him at 147. Would have helped had he taken Cintron down to 147. I think Paul has a bigger advantage over him there anyhow. Still don't understand this fight at 154.

Martinez at 154 KO'd Cintron. He hit him so hard he thought he had been hit with a headbutt. At 160, he definitely throws anything harder than Floyd.

Quintana never rocked Paul. He countered him to death. But in the second fight, when Paul sat down on his punches he was able to catch that ****er. Quintana's power isn't considerably less than Floyds.

PW would bring endless pressure from round 1-12 and thats something Floyd has never seen or dealt with in his life!!!

Floyd doesn't have the power to KO PW let alone hurt him!!!

And for anyone who thinks Martinez isn't fast then you can refer to what Jim Lampley said about Martinez "I think he's the fastest JMW i have ever seen"!!!!

BTW Jim Lampley has forgotten more about boxing than 99% of us on ESB will ever know!!!!

There is no secret that PW has problems with counter punching lefties but PBF is not that, and PBF doesn't have the power of Martinez!!!!!

Dont understand why someone people put an option like "never going to happen, one is a chicken" as a choice in a public poll. It just gives people who want to sit on the fence an option.
Anyway i think Williams wins by UD.

David Haye has a higher KO% than David Tua, so by your logic Haye is more of a power puncher than Tua!!!-(

Floyd did a decent job in stopping Hatton so I don't consider him to be completely without power. Talk about ring generalship. Floyd ran Hatton into a ring post like a matador ****ing with a bull.

I joked about Peterson telling Paul to "man up on dem punches" against Martinez, but think about it. Doing this would have corrected a **** load of Pauls mistakes. If Paul loses his composure against Floyd like he did with Sergio, Floyd takes him to school. The Martinez fight was close and Floyd is A LOT better than Sergio.

Cintrons a *****. He knew it was a punch, just acted like it was a headbutt because he's a *****. YOu say Martinez is a hard puncher, yet has a 50% KO percentage against journeymen. Ok.

Quintana rocked Williams several times. He has a thin neck so when someone lands clean his head swivels like a bobble head.

Yet he is massively inferior to Floyd in every other category.

I aint hatin on Williams, he's just stylistically all right for Floyd.
