What's the verdict? I thought at first it was a dive, but watching the replays it seems the punch landed pretty flush on the jaw...hope he's ok anyhow he put in a great performance for 10 rounds
ive never-ever seen a delayed ko. have u? anytime a fighter gets koe'd, he gets ko'ed as soon as the opponents glove hits his face....with direll, it was a delayed reaction-big time!! its almost like he got hit, thought about it, and then he went down. was the punch dirty? yes. but was he ko'ed?? all i know is that his reaction was obviously "DELAYED". anyone who watched the fight will see that for themselves. the delay to me, is suspicious. especially given the fact that abe was coming on strong in the later rounds and he knocked direll down, but it was ruled a slip. why it was ruled a slip is ridiculous in itself. but thats another thread.:bbb
Initially I thought it was very overplayed, theatrical and a bit strange. But he did seem disorientated (not helped by the annoying ****s screaming and shouting "you won baby!" whilst shaking his ****ing head). I guess only Dirrell knows but if he is being genuine then I hope he is okay.
I'm glad AA hit him I'm sick of him running with his glass chin. Fight like a man. AA got screwed he was well on his way on getting the KO.
Of course he can. 9 out of 10 people can just lie down and do like Taylor did in the last fight. Nothing difficult in that.
Well a lot of peeps seem to think he was... I actually feel really bad for the guy, he deserved a proper win :deal
The way he was able to scream "dawg" with his homies a million times, jump around, and cry a bit...make it does seem a little bit of an acting job....The DQ was justified though...
i hate to disresspect fighters but that was a ****ing acting job. he seemd to look fine for 2 seconds and then seized the oppurtunity to make it more dramatic.
