It was clear to anyone with eyes that he was in Dirrell's pocket tonight, which is pretty sad considering Dirrell may not have even needed it. The ref was nowhere near the action when Dirrell slipped (or perhaps got kd depending on your take) and should have been in position to make a judgment on the punch and to also get in between the fighters; just one of a number of mistakes by Cole.
