very hard to say. The punch obviously landed very flush. You look at the seconds right after the punch and you think "he is obviously milking it" but then you look at the minutes that follow and you think "this dude is totally out of it"
I've seen delayed reaction KO's.. besides.. acting or not.. it should have been a DQ. Why should Dirrell have to continue after taking a free power shot to the chin while on his knees? You hit someone when they are down, pretty much always it's a DQ.
It would be understandable if he instantly got KO'd after the punch landed, it raises questions though when the guy just took it, paused for a sec, gave a confused look like wtf, then laid down and held his head.
Since when have you seen pro mma fighters down on one knee unprotected and not expecting to be punched? atsch
No one knows, but think AA was getting the better of him and Dirrell seem to conveniently slip a lot... of course he wouldn't be doing that to try and break up the rhythm of the fight.
However, the way he acted after he was able to get to his feet...jumping around, screaming, and crying....makes it seem like an act job... I thought the same as you did originally...When he closed his eyes, and his body was twitching....
How long have you been watching Boxing? Kos lot of times are delayed reaction ive seen it happen countless times.
He overplayed it but the hit clearly did do some damage and should be a disqualifier for Abraham. Who's corner splashed the floor in the first place?
How was the knockdown not a knock down?! That was a terrible call! The ref also broke up an AA onslaught for little to no reason.
faking it....defnitely way to delayed his antics after it wasnt flustered load of crap GO AA for stating he was faking in front of the american crowd .....FAKE
