Of course he did. Why is a better question. He was winning.

Never seen someone be half hit then look at the ref, then bring both gloves to the face, then be out cold, then fall on their back and jerk one leg. ****in ridicoulous when you watch it a few times.

    Why, only he knows.

If you play out the events of dirrell falling down, getting knocked down(non-call), and visibly hurt the round before....It appeared Dirrell was looking to run out the clock....

The way he acted afterwards when he was able to get to his feet, makes me lean towards a act job...I do think he was hurt, but could have continued...

anyone who thinks he was acting did not see it in real time . . . that was scary stuff! AA might get suspended for this

He clearly faked it and it was that good of an acting job. Convulcing like that was way over the top. Typical though!!

    This one is a poll...

I was actually expecting it to be a clear majority "no" but is seems pretty even

Imo the question should be "does it matter if he faked it ?".

    And the answer is no.

After reading what has been posted here in the past hour, I'd say, yes, it is.

Yeah, but that's the exception, not the rule. Usually if a guy lands a full on power shot on a guy who is down.. it's a DQ.

It does depend on how hard the punch was.. but it was a hard shot.
