Give me a break, it because he's straight up boring. Don't try to play it off like he's some amazing fighter who crushes his opponents. Can you actually seriously say you were on the edge of your seat while watching Fitch, cheering him on?

I remember silva, at one time, being criticized for fighting "safe" and doing just enough to win

    Fitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Even as a Brit, whilst incredibly proud of Hardy, gutted for Mir. I always thought he was a bit of a *****, but his work ethic & the way he has spoken recently has really made me warm to him.

Why was he so slow starting? He's probably wondering what all the effort was for now the poor *******. At 30 it's not the end of the World, but how many more chances will he get?

I wish him & Carwin could have a do-over & go again tomorrow.

Against who? Leites ..dont give me Cote because Cote broke his leg. Even so in between fights Silva has given us hours of hi-lite reel beatdowns...victories that makes you go WOW! just like BJ, Fedor, guys you know when they step into the octagon keeps you on the edge of your seat...Id even throw in Lyoto (who got criticized for being boring) look at his fights in the UFC, tons of highlights.

Mir is so pompous, his arrogance got him KTFO. He figured he could lie against the fence and relax and he'd get his moment. His face 20 seconds before the KO was motioning to his corner he was cool. He did that vs. lesnar on the round as well right before he was turned into mashed potatoes

But the fight would have been much more competitive on the ground. Why wouldn't Silva want to give the fans a competitive show where two jui jitsui artists can showcase their skills. I don't know about you, but I love watching two skillful ground guys go at it. But standing on their feet, the fight sucked because it was such a mismatch so Leites wouldn't engage. And why the hell would he comply? He had no chance standing up.

Don't expect GSP to do something that could risk him losing the fight when he has an alternative strategy that guarantees him victory.
What I really think your getting at is that you want GSP to lose, and you know the only way that's going to happen is by him getting KO'd like he did in the Serra fight. When he doesn't comply with sticking to standup, you perceive it in a negative way. I see it as a smart fighter using his strength. Same thing Matt Hughes used to do and most people consider him the best welterweight of all time.

If GSP had kept the fight standing more, and Hardy ended up landing something and knocking him out, the first criticism people would have had of George would be "why did he stand with Hardy so much? That was stupid."

I like standup and I like the ground game. That's why I watch mixed martial arts. Otherwise I'd only watch boxing. I have huge appreciation for GSP's dominance, and I respect his amazing athleticism and his relentless pace. You may find it boring, but I don't.

No, I wasn't on the edge of my seat because he was so vastly superior to Saunders. Don't criticize Fitch because Saunders is **** compared to him.

Because this is not a JJ competition!:patsch And the crowd would ****in boo. MMA doesnt need potential fans to get turned off by two men "humping". Look at most of the criticism of MMA, two ****ing men half naked humping on the ground. Just go to the damn boxing forum.

Casual (potential fans) see a Silva vs. Irvin, BJ vs Diego as compared to GSP vs. Hardy. Which fights do you think will sway them to become a fan of MMA?

That shows you how boring Finch actually is, since Saunders is "****". Now do you finally realize why people find him boring? He couldn't finish or even inflict any actual damage on Saunders. He just stuck to his same old boring game plan that he uses fight after fight. Notice how they didn't even interview him post fight.:deal

    SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT??

You obviously dont fight ..I know through my experiences it aint fun getting punched or kick etc even in a winning effort.

The fighters job is to win..If they entertain in the process then great. But that aint his/her job..

Actors,Singers even pornstars sole job is to entertain.

Fighters fight and try win doing so by any legal means possible.
