I'll tell you what bothered me the most out of UFC 111. GSP walking in to old school Biggie Smalls. Man! You're french Canadian!

GSP is the KING alot of ****ing morons on here just cause he is humble people will start underrating him but he could have come after that fight and said "HARDY WAS EASY NOOONE CAN BEAT ME" and you would all by on your knees.

25 minutes of NON STOP domination

 

I personally wouldnt come out to that song but whats the big deal with him being French Canadian and enjoying sum biggie smalls??

Can only African Americans from New York come out to his tunes?

Ya he's great. But a white french Canadian doesn't exactly have a lot in common with that song. I mean, it didn't make sense, except that GSP wants to be black. I know he goes to raps clubs that are primarily black and prefers to date black girls. That's all gravy and cool, but I think he could have chosen as song that suits him a little better than a rap artist rapping about growin up in the hood. atsch

 

He could have gotten away with coming out to a couple Biggie songs, especially one of the ones with Puff Daddy called Victory and that would've been cool. But GSP has no relation to life in the hood lol

I mean come on! He did have super Nintendo AND Sega genesis!

His parents were good to him and he lived with them until at least 23 years old. They weren't as well off as some but they weren't poor. They had him in karate at like 7 or something, instead of putting him in hockey. He was bullied a bit and grew up in a semi tough area but it's montreal for **** sakes. LOL not Compton or the bronx. He was sliced in the calf with a knife though after KOing some fool in high school. lolol

 

I think GSP's earned the right to enter to whatever the **** he wants.

 

Of course, but it doesn't mean it's gonna compliment him.

 

Should do what I do and watch the UFC events at St Mary's Band Club for free!

 

do you even ****ing listen to yourself. You betray your underlying racism. Who gives a **** what music he comes into. He likes teh song, he can come into the ring playing it. He likes black girls, he can prefer to date them. It doesn't mean he wants to be black ffs.

 

Think what you want. My point is be who you are, not who you aren't. A lot of fighters enter to music that exemplifies who they are, music they relate to. The music supplies a meaning and a voice so people can learn what they're about. I think GSP grew up the way a ton of white kids did in Canada listening to rap, talkin the slang, wearing NYC hats and callin each other "*****'s". I went to school with lots of these guys.These kids obviously admired the black culture enough that they transformed everything they could to try to be like that culture, shoutin out "keepin it real!". Meanwhile they're the furthest thing from being real trying to be someone else.

 

Well I love Biggie and hip hop, but does me being white and from Sydney mean I'm not allowed to enjoy it? Would you be this critical if Rampage came out to Green Day??
