To those who claim Dirrell faked being ktfo. Your all a disgrace.

Dirrell was in serious trouble. Simply put, you can't fake your body trembling and stiffening like that. Coupled with the fact, he was having serious trouble breathing. Did you guys even see when he rolled on to his side attempting to get up? Scary.

I think alot of people misinterpreted his actions afterwards........Dirrell was extremely upset with what he thought he had heard-someone call him a 'coward'. Upon hearing this, his behaviour became erratic and somewhat emmotional. He began to shout 'i couldn't even remember what happened dog'. 'I was seriously hurt'. 'Let me go finish this ****, i'm no coward'. Obviously eager to prove his machismo.

Clearly, he was worried about the perception of what people (the minority) may think of him. He just got KTFO for the first time. He only knew he won by DQ after cornermen repeatedly told him for **** sake. He's entitled to be at least a little emmotional. Geez.

The guy just fought the fight of his life and had victory taken away (the way he wanted to win at least) from him by getting illegally KTFO. When he finally came to his senses did he 'act' a bit OTT? yes. But did he really feign being KTFO? Absolutely not.

Lets not take the masterclass performance away from an innocent fighter who just had his defining moment.

I would like to think Dirrell isnt faking it for the sake of the tournament and boxing not beoming WWE, but the more I see it the more I think he goes to cover his face (natural reaction) then looks at the ref to make sure hes seen it, then decided to fake ko and just lay there with his arms up.

Yeah, dirrell faked being KTFO in a fight where he was schooling Abraham with a knockdown and the fight being halfway through the 11th round. Had he gotten up, Abraham would have had a point taken off and been even further behind on points. Ridiculous.

Give Dirrell credit. Fools.

 

I have to admit, that was a bit OTT.

The guy thought he had lost legit. Not to be stereotypical but he's American and with that comes being OTT emotional.

The guy just got KTFO and won he's entitled to be a little bit confused.

 

Of course you can fake these things. That's why we have medical dramas on television every day with people playing characters dying and having asthma attacks and seizures. But still, in no way do I think he was faking anything from what I saw. The guy got a potentially career-ending or life-ending punch considering he was defenseless an Abraham is Abraham. I'm glad he seems okay now anyway.
