hmm I thought standard practice on ESB was that if a fighter refuses a test he is automatically guilty?

Hang on, a fighter from the Phillipines refuses to take unprecedented doping tests and is roundly accused by half of the US of being on PEDs, a fighter from the US refuses to take a mandated post-fight doping test and the guy who wanted it enforced is the one in the wrong? Let's have some consistency, Dirrell puts in a career best performance then refuses to take a test = he must be on 'roids.

Abraham is a typical whiny eurotrash fighter. Team Sauerland has a history with these types, they can't stand it when an American beats them.

Okay ******, lets walk through this one again.

Pacquiao refused to take random drug testing before a fight.

Dirrell was getting carted away to the hospital for a brain scan and they want to interrupt that for a drug test.

    BIG ****ing difference.

Coming from someone representing a country that produced Hopkins, Toney and Mayweather - probably the three biggest whingers in the history of the sport - I find your comments laughable.

Yeah, one was being asked to take tests by an ego-maniac, chicken **** ****, the other one was being asked to **** in a cup just like every fighter is meant to after a fight. Dirrell = drugs cheat, for sure.

did he straight up refuse, or was it because he was rushed to the hospital and undergoing a brain scan?

    the article doesn't really say

Andre Dirrell and AA were in a compelling fight that got completely ruined for me with how it ended. First off let me send some positive thoughts Andre Dirrell's way as I think he could still be in a dangerous life threatening situation. Second Abraham is about as classy as a dog turd. Anyone could see something was not right with Dirrell after he got hit & went down & by the aftermath in the corner that was maybe one of the most chaotic I've ever seen that didn't involve someone trying to start a brawl. And Abraham has the gull to say that the guy who nearly outclassed him completely (I think Dirrell lost 3 rounds max even if you were Abraham's girlfriend/wife scoring the fight) & dropped him for the first time in his career is merely a good actor -AA is a very bad and dumb actor since he's using the same line Mayweather is using against Pac. Concerning his first comments, I seriously hope he was just in the heat of the moment & didn't realize what was going on, but this guy is a classless POS when he loses in my book. Finally we have sent people into space, we can surf the internet on tinier & tinier devices that fit into our pockets & woman can all have perfect breasts for a price, but SERIOUSLY we can't advertise a beer or random product in a boxing ring in a manner that doesn't provide a health hazard for the competitors in that ring? Really? No really? This is seriously one of the dumbest things ever to have in a boxing ring. Why don't we make it really interesting & put some spikes alongside the ropes. Step too far back & good game to your size 12's. Kinda ashamed to be a boxing fan today with all the ignorance involved in this fight that has probably damaged a young mans life & certainly his career which I think we all know is always an issue in this sport, but under the conditions of this fight wasn't how it should've went down.

Dirrell was in no condition to be taking any tests.
