If Dirrell had the BALLS to stand up and finish the fight he would have a undisputed UD but he felt Abrahams desperation and in a fraction of a second he had a choice and he chose to stay down and take the easy win. I am NOT a fan of abraham and told all my friends that this fight was a VERY bad style match up for him and it was inevitable someone would outbox him eventually but you cant deny the fact that Abraham is a Notorious late starter and Dirrell was just KD the last round and no matter how you look at it Dirrell was weening down. i honestly believe Dirrell would have coasted to a UD anyway if he would have gotten up but through his character and heart choose the easiest route in fear of becoming Jermain Taylor'd in the 12(maybe). Dirrell practically started to complain before he was "knocked out". I had 2 girls and a friend who watches MMA over and all 3 thought he was faking it. Fact of the matter you dont make grimaces when your "knocked out".
The boxer throwing an illegal punch (intentionally or unintentionally) should take the penalty. The boxer receiving the illegal punch can exploit the situation (Luevano-Concepcion and this fight).

UFC fighters take punches like that on the ground all the time, yet Dirrell gets completely owned and KTFO with one little punch. Also, UFC fighters don't wear big ass boxing gloves. Is Dirrell's chin that bad?
Is UFC the sport Kimbo Slice plays? I'm not very familiar with it. Is it relevant. Isn't it dominated by a man named "George St. Pierre"? It doesn't seem like a very credible sport. Not sure of the relevance.
Gotta say that I've seen worse fouls than that when a guy is down. However, I have never seen a guy KTFO so badly in such a situation. Dirrell definitely is not faking though. As was stated in another thread they need to get rid of those ****ing advertisement on the canvass.
Please. There is not a single MMA fighter alive that punches like Abraham. Not even close! Also, it is the punches you don't see coming that hurt the most....Dirrell was not ready to be punched. So, on top of being down on the canvas and taking a free shot to the head from one of the biggest punchers on the planet, he did not see it and was not ready for it. Any man on Earth would have gotten flattened under those same circumstances. One more thing, those gloves are made to protect the fighter's hands, not their faces. Your theory is an example of why you are a UFC fan....you don't know **** about boxing.

The KO was legit. Dirrell was in full on retreat in the 10th and the 11th. There is a good chance that AA would have caught him in the 12th as Dirrell had very little left. AA should be suspended and banned from the tournament. Actually, one could make a case for criminal assault.
The more relevant issue is that Dirrell wasn't defending himself. No one is going to take a flush shot well from a big puncher when they aren't expecting to get hit.
I have never seen a worse foul than that in boxing. It's one thing to hit a guy in the balls(protective cup) but AA cocked his right and threw down. It wasn't even ****ing close.
