Eubank was 31 and in training for another fight already. Veit had got on a 20 odd fight unbeaten run. (and he went to germany). It's well documented that decent offers and agreements were made with hopkins in 02 03. What makes you think RJJ wanted any peice of Joe when he was in his prime.
