Absolutely not. It's not inconceivable to me that someone could have had Rosario winning the fight, but it was no robbery by any means. Very close fight.

I thought Rosario won the fight.

Camacho had one of the best excuses ever for this one.

He later claimed he performed poorly because he was affected all night by a mean look his mother gave him in the locker room.

The criticism for Camacho comes from his running and seemingly dogging the fight, not so much on the decision which was close, and thus could be justified.

Rosario was screwed, as was the paying audience because Camacho did not fight as well as he could of. It is an example of a fighter being ruined by one bout despite winning it...

not really. Hector controlled the rounds which Rosario did not land. It was a fight sort of like Ike Quartey and Delahoya a little Oscar won the rounds and Ike scored with nicer punches, which are not enough to win fights.
Maybe that was not a good comparison.

Great, close fight but a definite win for Camacho. Many people liken it to Cotto-Mosley...extremely close but a win for Cotto nonetheless.

No, I always felt that Rosario had to prove himself in the ring to win against the champ. Kinda like what Marvin Hagler said in his dispute against his loss to Leonard. You just can't prove that you're capable of landing a few good shots. It was close, but I gave it to Camacho.

The thing that bothers me about Camacho is that I feel like he's wasted talent like Rosario or any other tragic story you hear about a fighter. Something about Camacho at one point made me think that this guy could be a fighter. Then his reluctance to take a punch started to settle in. As for Edwin Rosario I always felt like he became popular too late in his career. He had this style that was so smooth & confident and he was never really noticed by the public eye when he really had the tools.
