If the guy is convulsing, I would be inclined to believe that he was concussed.

 

I agree, Dirrell seemed to go down in stages and if you watch how he falls he takes care not to hit his head which makes me think he wasn't out of it.

 

This is just pathetic how people are trying to reason for Abraham. And to make it seem like Dirrel faked injury.

 

I think that was a **** up from the promotional network and venue. There clearly was no ambulance at the ready. If it was HBO and Vegas there would have been no post fight interview. Dirrell would have been sent directly to hospital from the ring.

 

Yeah i agree, and you se this often enough with fighters getting clipped and being practically out on their feet, Khans a good example although the second puch he shipped was a monster of a shot that nearly decapatated him,

The thing with the Dirrell punch is he looked fine then squinted, then went down, i dunno man mabey im just an idiot or refusing to agree but somthing didn't seem right to me

 

can someone plz show me where there's a 'delayed reaction' followed by the person having convulsions and memory loss?

 

In my honest opinion, i think the punch legitimately hurt Dirrell. But from there, a part of me says that its all real, and another part of me is saying that Dirrell knew that he was hurt enough from that cheap shot and there was still alot of time in the round that there was a chance that AA would catch him so he just stayed down. Regardless the fight should have ended there because there is no reason what so ever that AA should have done that and the DQ was right. I think there was a chance that AA would have got the KO if it had continued, but i base that on the fact that he sucker punched dirrell while he was down and hurt him.

 

That i do agree with. Ive seen boxers fake being hurt before, but never have i seen someone "fake" unconcious breathing. I dont know man its all weird and one thing is for certain, Dirrell beat AA's ass!!!

 

Concussive blows to the head are not instant. Force of the blow, possibly followed by a white electrical flash of light, and then helplessness.

 

we probably won't agree if he was truly hurt. But the fact is that a foul happened and a DQ. If they've gone to the cards, dirrel was leading, so I have no problem with that.
