Good post. The slipping should have been dealt with, there was clearly a problem with water on the ring,it was not on purpose.Ive watched Artur for a long time and am a fan of his but he was out of order and is lucky that Dirrel was not more seriously hurt.

There's no way the slip prior to the illegal punch was on purpose. Get a grip.
And why is ESB's Polish contingent so peeved about last night's debacle?
    He's Armenian fer ****s sake.

He wasn't expecting to be punched....But his intentional slips was definitely a tactic, and doesnt it occur to you he always slips while his opponents dont???:rofl

Dirrell did fall on his own a couple of times but the others were Froch pressing his neck down. Against AA Dirrell fell maybe two times if I recall correctly. I blame those damn advertisements on the mat and I think they should be removed. Water in corners contributes too.

    good point
I don't think Mayorga slipped like Spinks did either, but some will tell you it was how the styles matched up that caused the slips.......

His slips way too much and it so happens he has a knack for slipping in very important moments in the fight. . .as in when his opponent are on the offensive.

Spitting gumshields and losing glove-laces is very popular too.

Dirrell uses a wide stance. This post is just plain disrespectful.
