Did Abraham know that Dirrell is already on his knees

I think he did.....Dirrell was on his knees for a good 2 secs before he threw that punch.

He said post fight he didn't and it was in the heat of the moment but Dirrell was knelt down and AA had to crouch to hit him,

Im pissed off how the fight ended but it was a DQ non the less, you can't hit a fighter when he's down.

 

If I poured a pint of vodka into my goldfish's bowl then showed it the fight it'd be able to tell that Dirrell was down.

So there's probably a 50-50 chance that Abraham was aware of it.

He only had a second or two to think about it. Sometimes frustration just gets the better of you.

 

He definitely knew it. But here's the thing, he was in the heat of the moment. He knew he was losing on points and a knockout was his only chance. He would have to throw every punch for every opportunity. He punched Dirrell illegally out of frustration and he clearly deserved the DQ. As for the post-fight interview, yes, that was classless. Again, that was out of frustration of getting schooled all night.

Of course he knew, he kneeled a bit to land that shot... Dirrell wasn't on one knee, he was on his ass.

 

He knew it, how the **** did he not notice first the slip or the fact that Dirrell's head was blow his waist. He was pissed off about getting his ass beat and embarrassed so he threw a dirty shot. Or perhaps he knew that he was going to lose and instead of letting Dirrell dominate him he threw a dirty shot in order to create a big stink because we already know the Euros have no preconception about whining.

 

It looked like Abraham gathered himself, damn near drew an "X" on Dirrell's face to mark the spot, readjusted his feet, then hammered away. I definitely believe he knew Dirrell was down, but I don't believe he was able to stop himself, due to several reasons already mentioned....similar to how the Euros cannot stop themselves from taking cheap shots at American fighters (humiliation, defeat, upsets, schoolings, frustration).

I voted yes, but I do think there is a possibility that Abraham did not perceive he was down. Based on what I've seen on video, it seems unlikely, but I'm willing to consider that in the faced paced action of a boxing match, things seem different than they look standing on the outside looking in.
