Apart from LHW, where we have Machida and Shogun vying for top spot soon, is there another division where you give any of the contenders a more than, lets say 30%, chance of toppling the title holder?

Name the division and tell me the potential champ.

Please include champs from lower divisions that you think have a decent chance of toppling the title-holder in the division above them.

    Or aren't there any?:think

Carwin has a great chance of beating Lesnar and JDS and Cain are right in the mix as well.

Anderson Silva has a chance at LHW if Shogun wins.

If GSP moves up to MW than Penn could probably come in and take the 170lb belt.

    Vitor could beat Anderson Silva.

There is still competitiveness in the UFC even though they have 4 out of the top 5 p4p fighters in the world.

Good post. It sure would be nice if Hendo were still in the mix at 185 or if Sheilds came to the UFC to fight at 170, but it's still a pretty decent mix.

Getting rid of Hendo made no sense.

I think after watching what Carwin did last night he is a threat for lesnar for sure.

But as for Anderson,GSP and BJ I don't see anybody beating them in there own weight classes. BJ will likely move up soon ,Anderson already has and will again and GSP will also eventually.

Ok let's say Anderson, GSP, and BJ all move up in weight class, then who are there biggest threats in their new divisions?
    Anderson at 205
    GSP at 185
    BJ at 170

I think Shogun beats Anderson at 205 with his superior ground game. I think Sonnen could be a threat to GSP, wether or not he beats him is another question. Alves could be a dangerous fight for BJ at 170

Carwin showed last night he has the power to knockout anybody at heavyweight including brock.

Velazquez continue to impress me.. i wont count him out against lesnar

My boy vitor belfort could defenitely give anderson silva a tough fight. Silva likes to strike and vitor got fast hands and has power to hurt him

At 170 i don't see anybody beating gsp right now

at 155 i dont see anybody beating bj right now but im curious at how gomi will do against florian. Gomi has the talent to give bj a tough fight.
