    Who wins @ 140? (assuming that Valero can match his performance that he had in his last fight despite being 5lbs heavier)

    I was thinking that the other night while watching Maidana fight. I'll take Maidana, we know he got power and a hell of chin for getting up from them shots he took from Ortiz. Valero's chin or will hasn't been tested yet and if you put him in with someone who could hit just as hard as him if not harder and take a good shot Valero wouldn't hang. Maidana by KO.

    Maidana has a proven chin in which he can take a punch while Valero still haven't fought a real opponent. I hope down the road Valero vs Maidana happens and if it does then my money is on Maidana by ko.

    valero by k.o. all maidana showed me is that he is beatable..and yes he can take a punch. pretty sloppy

    I read that Valero had difficulty making 135. I think he would easily carry his speed and power @ 140. I like Maidana but Valero showed us that he can box and has good defense. He has quicker hands, quicker feet than Maidana and moves in and out very well. This could be fight of the year type deal due to their seek and destroy styles as well as Valero being south paw possessing the huge left hand vs Maidana with his huge right.
