Yes that was a miracle going 12 rounds v Leglise. Another miracle was we all stayed up and watched it to the end.

I understand that in some police stations that fight is still used as part of interrogation.

There was always the rumor that the wrong Charlie Brown was bought to Australia for Pat Leglise . They thought they where brings Charlie "white lightning"Brown a boxer. They ended up with Charlie "Choo Choo"brown a slugger. The result Leglise tried that uppercut from the the outside and got Koed. Is it True? I don't know but it is a good story.

I think Robbie Peden should be alot higher than number 6. IBF world tittle, Commonwealth Games Gold medalist amoung others. Many Australian fighters claim to have not gotten the right opportunities to fulfill their destiny. Robbie didn't take that chance, he went to the USA with no money, little management and took on the absolute best in the division. As a result he is not recognised like he should be in this country. Even when Robbie could have taken a few easy fights after beating Campbell, instead he chose to attempt to unify the tittles against the legend Marco Antonio Barrera. This was the main fight at the MGM Grand, even Mosley's fight was relegated to the undercard! Robbie chose credibility instead of money unlike another fighter further back on the list.

Pug, Robbie is 6 for a reason.. His achievements and ability as an Am & Pro. I agree that his career is over looked due to the Pro career being USA based, however I have taken that into account.

    1. Lionel Rose
    2. Dave Sands.
    3. Ron Richards.
    4. Tony Mundine.
    5. Hector Thompson.

Which would you like to change???
