As I say, with the kd's its nearly six apiece. So was hardly a massive robbery, was it?

 

this fight is a classic example of why a 10 - 8 round is sometimes bull **** . Not in every case but certainly in this .

 

I go with the official refs scoring. I.e I didn't think Morales was dropped in the last round of the first Barrera fight, but it was ruled a KD so I considered it in my scorecard :good

 

Thats a good point but on this particular occasion what im saying is that you have a round where a fighter (Funeka) imo dominates 80% of the round and gets KD , now i know in boxing a KD should be rewarded as it is a very important part of the fight and ultimatley could and should be the difference in winning a close fight .

Anyway i digress , so Funeka wins almost all the exchanges in the round and gets dropped , Campbell wins the round !!!!!! agree'd he knocks his opponent down he wins the round , but why cant they score it 10 - 9 Campbell , as lets look at it , if there was not a KD he aint winning the round does that make sense ?????

Now i dont know for sure there is a rule which says a round with a KD in must be scored 10 - 8 case closed , if there isnt i think in this fight the judges must not of known about it ?????..................

But if we bring in subjective scoring, it could bring in even more arguments.

I am really surprised to see Mitchell is favourite in this fight, I was expecting him to be 5/2ish with the bookies.
